Snow at the summit

In near the summit of Mt. Ege-san, ground was covered by white snow. The snow was colored blue by reflecting the sky's color. It was very beautiful.

Animal walked on the snow. It mast be cold.

White mountains

It was snow until last night. High mountains in Hiroshima city was colored white. So, the landscape was like in Toyama city at the north side of Japan.

It was beautiful.

In the snow

The summit of Mt. Ege-san was in snow cloud. I could stay there only a few minutes. 

Before my sweat change to ice, I escaped there. It was very cold.

Best record

Time to the summit of Mt. Ege-san was 40 minutes and 41 seconds. It was my best record. 

I break record which was built in 4 years ago.

It was because of my training in these months and new boots. 

Boots for trail running

I bought boots for trail running. It is specialized for running in mountain. 

Until then I ran in mountain by climbing boots which hold ankle. It was suit for walk with heavy backpack. But, it was not suit for run.

I hope my running speed in mountain will be fast.

Guys without ladies

I read the book written by Haruki Murakami. It's short stories which be written about guys who lost their wives or girlfriends.

Most of all were very nice stories. One of them was "Drive my car". It was made as movie and got achieve awards of Academy.

Haruki Murakami is one of my favorite writer.

Cool bike in the rain

It commuted in the rain after a long interval. Wetted my bike was very cool.

Best record

I reached to the summit of Mt. Ege-san in 42 minutes. It was same with my best record which I'd done in 4 and half years ago.

I was very very happy. I understood that continuing train make result. My son's one was 35 minutes. I will reach it until in half year.

Affix the board

It is a stand item for bring bicycle by train. But, it snap during I bring the bicycle. And the rear derailer touch with ground and be damaged.

So, I affix the board with the stand. It won't snap.

Sunrise

In this season, sunrise, sea and sky were beautiful.

Cloud over the sea in far away was very nice.

Good record

Time from entrance of climbing road to summit was about 46 minutes. I could reduce about 2 minutes compared with the time one month ago.

For good record, I trained every morning. I run about 5 km before my job would start in the morning.

My best record was 42:00 in about 4 years ago. I have to train more. It was battle with adding age. I'm 53 years old.

Grilled meat in Miyoshi

I ate grilled sheep's meat in restaurant in Miyoshi city. Many people were played there. Corona crisis may had been finished for them.

Turing by bicycle with friends

I cycled from Kabe in Hiroshima city to Miyoshi city. The distance was about 60 km. It was annual event in every year.

At first, I brought my bike from Yano town to Kabe town.

Fix backpack

I'm fixing my old backpack by myself. 

I'd used the backpack more than 12 years. All of band's materials were damaged. So, I decided to change the place of the material.

At first, I challenged to fix the most difficult point which was at the bottom of the body. 

It was needed about 2 weeks to fix only it. 

I like to use gears for long while with fixing. 

Walk in silent town in island

It was silent town around the octopus restaurant. In about 10 years ago, it was busy. Many tourists were there.

But, I like to walk in silent town.

A specialty food was octopus in the island. So, we ate it.

Out of gate

There was exotic temple in the island. We had to pay expensive, if we entered there. So, we abandoned to enter it.

Ice cream in island Ikuchi

I drive car with my wife and went to island Ikuchi-jima. We ate ice cream which had taste of lemon in the island. It was tasty.

Mt. Ege-san

I reached to the summit in 48 minutes and 18 seconds. It was good record in these months.

But, after I went home, I'd backache. It was needed about 5 days to fix it.

Orange sunrise

When I was commuting in the morning, I watched orange sunrise. Surface of the bay was like mirror.

The sky was colored orange or purple in the evening. What condition make such sky? 

Time record don't be improved

I train hard in these 2 weeks. But the time record don't be improved.

I have to continue it. I want to think that my body is charging power and energy now. The record must be improved soon.

  

Old shoes

I decided to discard shoes. I'd been used it for more than 5 years.

I used it for commuting, walking, running and easy climbing, etc.

I like to use old one despite it be broken, and be dirty. Old gears are friendly to me.

Japanese Soba noodle in Oku-idumo

After we wake up in tent, we went to eat soba noodle in Oku-idumo area.

Full moon over silver grass

We could see beautiful full moon and shining silver grass. It was like an animation's one scene.

The silver grass was moved like wave when the wind flowed.

What a beautiful landscape. 

Grill beef

In the evening, we ate grilled beef in camp site. Eating foods with friend was very interesting.

I went to Mt. Aduma-yama with friend by his car.

The object was watching full moon over the silver grass.

Sky at Mt. Ege-san

I climbed Mt. Ege-san. It was fine and cool.

The time record to the summit was 49:11.

Adapter for head lump

This is a gear which hold head lamp at the end of front tire's shaft.

I used it about 1 week. It was not good. I put it off from bicycle and throw it into the keeping box.  

Mat in tent

Old mat for climbing had been broken about 3 years ago. As I had not climbed with tent and mat about 3 years, I did not buy it. Old one had been used about 10 years.

I want to use it for long while. 

Plate for grill meat

I bought the plate for grill meat. I'll use it in mountain next week.

Gears for rain

I bought new 2 gears for climbing.

One of them was rain cover for backpack. It was for 65 litter backpack. The old one was broken about 3 years ago in Hokkaido as the oldness. 

Another one was rain wear. Old one was damaged and be discarded. The new rain wear was expensive one. It was most high class in Mont bell's rain wear.

Rain wear is one of the most important gear for climbing. Cheap one can't resist rain's enter well, and make feel me high humidity. So, I think rain wear should be high class.

Time to summit

I climbed Mt. Ege-san as fast as I could do. The record was 49:57. My best record was 42:00 in 4 years ago. 

My son's record in last week was 35minutes. It was too fast when it be compared with mine.

I decided to start train more hard in order to win his record.

Silent camp site

There was a silent camp site near the grass sea.

I hate camp site which can be reached by car. Because, many people can reach there and bring noisy and heavy items.

At the campsite, only climbers were there after walking more than 1 hour.

I want to stay the camp site some day.

Summit of Mt. Aduma-yama

The road to the summit was nice. There was a nice landscape from the summit. If it would be more clear weather, Japan see must be seen from there.

Beautiful mountain

Beautiful mountain and beautiful grass. The peak was the summit of Mt. Aduma-yama.

Sea of grass

There was a wide silver grass's sea on the road. It was very beautiful. I'd never seen such a landscape.

I felt happy because that there was such a great nature in Hiroshima pref.

Climb with son

I went to Hiroshima prefecture's forest with my son in order to climb Mt. Aduma-yama. He and I hadn't climbed it.

My son returned to Hiroshima as he was in summer holiday. I was surprised by his change and growth.

He left from I and his mother about an half of year ago. In half year he stayed alone, studied and climbed.

His story about his life, studying and climbing, etc was very interesting. He climbed mountain which I abandoned to climb because of the difficulty. He is doing everything which I want to do if I restart my life again.

I understood that watching son's growth was most happy for parents. 

Go to watch the sea

Before I work in the morning, I went to watch the sea by bicycle.

Drink can coffee with bicycle beside sea was very nice. I'd done same action from I started to ride bike.

Walk around new town

I walked around new town in Yano area. I walked up to the summit of Mt. Chausu-yama which was nearest summit from my home. 

MTB

My MTB is very cool.

I always use it when I go everywhere. Bicycle always bring me  everywhere where I want to go.

Zelt

I assembled zelt on the ridge line of Mt. Ege-san. It was after a long interval. I stopped climb with tent from the beginning of Corona.

If the number of infected people decrease, I'll go to climb with tent or zelt.

Beside the river

After I reached my office, I went to beside the river.

As it was the end of summer, cool wind came from surface of river. It was nice.
