Animal in the roof

When I had a rest at shrine Noma on the climbing road of Mt. Ege, A big noise had happened in the roof of the shrine.
Some animal must be there in it, and it couldn't go out from there. It ran in it noisy during I stayed there. It might be mouse. But, I couldn't acknowledge what was that.
