Even after death
Many old tombs were there in the narrow space at end of memorial park. If relatives of death don't continue to pay money to the temple, tombs were treated as if they are dust.
When I see such a situation, I always think that the religion is a payable business. As I recall, we paid much money to monk at the mother's memorial ceremony.
A nice proverb goes "Money make us happy even after death".
