Summit was in the mist

When I reached a peak, I saw a deep mist covered around the summit. As it was very deep mist, I abandoned to watch landscape from the summit at the time.
At once, I would have to down to the col  and I would have to climb again in order to reach the summit.
I could see a lodge at the depth of the col.
