Easy to climb

Japan have an original height unit in mountain. For example, "5 gou" means the mid height between entrance of climbing road and the summit. "10 gou" is the summit.
I could easily reached the mid point "5 gou". But, everyone in web wrote that the road between 9 gou and summit was very very hard. So, I could't feel easily.
